A4LD service manual.

Hey guys,

Does anyone have a service manual for the A4LD tranny? My father rebuilt my transmission, missed something and now I have no forward gears. What I am going to do is tear it down, and I want to be able to verify that all parts are there so I can figure out what is missing.

A4LD service manual.

You didn't mention what year vehicle this pertains to but, I have the factory shop manuals on the '84 and '88 Bronco2s. They go into great detail on the automatic transmissions.

If you wish, you can contact me at <jerrale(No Email Addresses In Posts!)> and I'll try to assist you.

A4LD service manual.

Mine is an 86 Eddie Bauer, but the A4LD is the same troughout the years. If you wouldn't mind I would love any tranny info you may have. Let me know what it'll cost.

A4LD service manual.

www.bulkparts.com has manuals for the A4LD. Basic manual is $16 and the manual with the updates is $16 more.

mrshorty:
Do you have one of these manuals? Do you know if they are any good. This will be the first auto tranny I have done by myself and I would like to find something that will show in detail, step by step directions.

A4LD service manual.

I don't have one, yet. A guy named Opera House Works has used this manual extensively in rebuilding his A4LD's. His posts usually show up in the Explorer forum and the Transmission forum.
