MustangII IFS questions for 52 F-1
Hey fellas, I am hoping you can all help me out. I am going to be installing an IFS on wildfire soon. The questions i have reguard the ride height of the mustang II and fitment.
I know it depends on what springs i will use ( i will probably have to use the heavier of the V8 springs cause of my FE up front), but how much of a drop does the standard spindles generate on a 52 F-1?
I am trying to figure out which spindles to order. I want to know if I can get away with steel standard spindles or do I need the 2in Drop spindles.
thanks
Eddie

I have a '52 that I installed a TCI MII on, and after reading here I decided to use standard spindles, which still dropped the front at least 5 inches. I have coil overs with 800# springs and adjusted all the way down the front bumper was only 7" off the ground. I have them up about 2/3rds of the way and with my 350 the bumper is now about 10" off the ground. At least I can park where they have concrete stops now.
