Hey thanks Ross for putting the picture out front! Thanks to all for the kind words and for the encouragement all through the process. I lurked here for years gleaning advice that made everything much easier. I did a lot of soul searching about my IFS choice (Volare) after reading John Niolin's experience. I can't even begin to thank all for the things I have learned on FTE. Now I am at the point that my Wife and I are trying to "Drive the wheels off of it". Steve

Very nice Steve! And good to see another of my Volare brothers hitting the street. Jniolon was my IFS inspiration as well. I still have his famous numbers matching Volare IFS in reserve.

Now that's funny!! I actually got to meet John back in 2008 or 2009 (gray moment) when the Supernats were in Knoxville. Got to sit around the Motel one night and get to visit and talk trucks. I can't wait to see his truck on the road also. By the way John, I'm coming through Birmingham (right next door to "Beautiful downtown Hueytown, Alabama") heading to PF this year so hurry up and get that '53 on the road! Steve

Steve, your truck is a beauty... can't wait to see it in person... don't know if I'll be home wen you come thru... I'll be headed to PF also !!! maybe we can plan a meet either here or there.... and I'm sure you'll go to Crusin the coast so that is also an option...

Appreciate but don't understand all the accolades... I'm just like you guys... I poke around and stumble over stuff then write down what I stumbled over so you guys will miss it... I'm no guru... not even an experienced builder... although this build has been an experience... Weeks seem to go by before we can get an hour or two to work but I'm hoping for a trip to the paint show this year... then it's wiring, interior... bed laying and such... lots todo still

later

Thanks again guys! John, I am spending Wed. night (May 15) in Hoover with My Daughter & Son-in-law. Heading on to PF Thurs. morning. Tacson, I plan to be there sometime early afternoon on Thursday (May 16). Plan to be there until Sunday morning. Already booked @ Willow Brook Lodge. Anything new yet on where the show is going to be held. I also would like to pre-register but web site doesn't give me that option. Hope to see both of you guys there, as well as many others on here. Okiedokie, spotted your truck quite a while back and really liked it. We had already decided on Cranberry Metallic years ago. Decided to go withtri-bar spinners on the AR wheels also. You coming to PF? Maybe we can make folks do a double take! Later Steve
