Hey Rastiss,
Nice job on the Crown Vic front end! It's good to see
you putting one of the young fellas to work. We picked up our 1950 when my son was around 16/17 - He was wandering a bit & the project has really helped him focus. Nothing like a little truck motivation! Zack is up driving it at college - It's amazing how carefully they drive it once they've put a little of their own effort into it.
I can't believe your guy doesn't want to wear knee pads because he's worried about what his buddies would say. Around this part of Texas he'd catch a lot more grief about that Oklahoma Sooner shirt!
Motor mount plates about half built. Down to just drilling holes. Firewall cut out, new one bent and notched for engine set back. Hopefully have it tacked in tomorrow.
Great thread, I almost didn't look at it. Glad to see those Webers, mine go on in the very near future, soon as the engine gets broken in with a Holley 600. Keep up the good work and your son focused. Glad to see all those blue ovals in the background.
I've been watching! Great job keep the pics coming. I have a cv front end waiting to get put in my 53. I was pondering the idea of notching the frame also to lower it but I plan on air ride eventually.
