Is there any way to move the center seat/console area? My husband had surgery on his leg and is in a full cast on his right leg. We can put the driver's seat back but the center section doesn't seem to move and if it was back just a little more he'd have room to put his cast so he could drive.

 

That's rough. Sorry to say there is no way to move the centers without heavy modification.

I suppose you could just pull the whole center seat out. I don't remember how the frame overlaps the passenger seat frame but i do remember its roughly a 20 minute job.

 

Wow, sorry to hear about your husband.....hope he's recovering pretty well.

I agree with Dan. The easiest solution to this is probably to just remove the entire center section for the time-being until he gets the cast off and then put it back in once he's healed.

These will at least give you an idea of what you're looking at to remove the center section. For what it's worth, I think the seat brackets overlap the brackets for the center section, if I recall correctly.
