On March 30, Saturday, there is a great truck/car show at Micke Grove Park in Lodi. For those of you that have not gone, let me tell you about it. Micke Grove is a huge State park. It costs $5 a car load to get in, but the show is free unless you want to enter your truck/car in the judging. Then I think they charge another $10. The park has a zoo, an amusement park, rose garden, horse show pits, and tons of room. The DELTA site where the show is located, has plenty of parking, covered eating area for up to 200 people and large brick BBQs. The sponsor club, the Delta F100 Elites stocks the BBQs with brickets. You can bring your own food, or there is usually a vendor there selling items out of a van. It's Easter related so there are activities for kids like egg hunts too.
I`ll mark it my calender Jag. I met you there like 6 years ago on the way to a job in Copperopolis and would like to spend more time with ya`ll. BBq and beer is like hearing a doorbell!
I will try to make it to this one, haven't been to a Micke Grove event since 2007 It will depend on how quickly I can make some money on this new job (still in training). As the registration and smog are due in April, I will need to focus on that first, and if there is money for a trip up to Stockton after that I will head up there. Might even wash the mud off the Bronco so she looks all nice and purdy.
I will not be able to make it this year. Still waiting for the State to approve my insurance license in order to make money at my new job. Have a great time whoever is going, and don't forget to take a lot of pics.
