Looks good, truck's come a long way!

I'd go with the 2wd valance as Jason mentioned above, will make the truck look a little higher. The post below has a before/after of mine. Also, any plans on an aftermarket bumper, or possibly blacking out the factory ones?

I may have to mock up what painted black flaires and bumpers would look like...
Well hell go put em on the way they are & decide, go on/off easy enough.
I'll wait right here

i'd say paint the flares to match. I added some OEM flares to my SD and painted them to match, it made the truck look better and protects the paint a little more.

I just want something that will help with dirt. I can't wash my truck and drive a mile without slingin' it right back!

I dig the painted headlights. The grill aint so bad either. Wonder how it'd look on a white plat lariat.

Id leave the flares black to help compliment the other black features. That's why I left mine black. Some look better black some look better painted. I'm a little cheap and just needed extra protection from road debris.

Trucks that have mud tires on - offset wheels NEED flares unless you want serious carnage. Heck even tire shine slings on the sides of the truck without flares.

If I had stock offset and wheel size sure no flares. Flares on a truck with stock wheels/tires is plain silly anyway.

I agree Jason, makes me laugh to follow a Truck down the road & the Flare's are sticking 6 inch's past the "cookie cutter" Tires

No flares. People make a way bigger issue about the wide tires causing paint damage than it really is. Ive had wide tires on offset wheels on all my trucks and never used after market flares.

Truck looks awesome as is, flares make it look like a red neck truck.

The grill is definitely not my cup of tea tho

Huh?

I had to put mud flaps on my truck as my 11.5" wide mud terrains were kicking up all kinds of rocks, chipping my paint. It's definitely an issue, at least for me. My off-roading is pretty much non-existant anymore, this is all stuff kicked up from the asphalt roads.

Out of curiosity. What is disliked about the grill? The logo, or grill itself

The logo. Itd look better either with nothing or perhaps a color matched ford emblem

Mud flaps?? We are talking about fender flares.

All I can base my comment on is my own experiences. Drove a 2001 4x4 V10 superduty with 35-37" tires for the last 11 years until I replaced it with a brand new 2011 F-150 that is also lifted and with wide offset tires/wheels. Neither have fender flares..... Yes, the truck gets covered with more mud and yes there are a few tiny chips in the paint but NOTHING that is noticeable unless you were looking for flaws with your face a few inches away from the paint.

So for me it was either have a few UN-NOTICEABLE chips in the paint, or slap on some VERY NOTICEABLE fender flares...

If thats the look you are looking for then cool, by all means go for it, but If you arent really into the look but will install them anyways just to save your paint.... not really a smart idea

truck looks nice man...I would paint the flares that way they are there but less noticeable sorta blend in look more factory....I like the grill, the whole truck is over the top with a in ya face attitude, grill just goes with that....
