Im trying to find a polish that actually works for the trim on my 78.

 

I believe it is all anodized, no polish is gonna work. I know the grill shell is for sure.

 

It's anodized so no polish will bring out the luster until ya strip it. Do you really want to do that? All that means is it'll require polishing from here on out.

Okay, you have been warned. Use Easy-Off oven cleaner to strip the anodize coating and use a compounds on a buffing wheel to bring out the shine.

I thought it was either coated or anodized. Ill just clean it up and put it on then. Thanks for the replies.

 

when i was a kid i used sos pad on my first dent,Im not sure what to use now on trim,to clean it up,any suggestions,,,,I had a friend that used jo jo hand cleaner it looked like it did a good job. It sure was shinning
