Mornings FTE, I hope everyone's week is going well so far.
I decided against working on the truck yesterday and stayed on the couch with a headache.
I might not be so smart today. There is only so much laying around I can do.
Hope everyone has a great day.

OK, got the radiator today and I am now back up and running again!!
Got the fuel gauge wired and installed.
Speedo is working but bouncing. I think it's slipping in the cluster.
Also finally got the amp gauge reading while I was cleaning up the wiring mess.

Hey Greg, if the needle is bouncing, pull out the drive cable and clean it very well. Apply some light grease. Apply it very sparingly because if there is too much is might creep up into the speedo head.

Morning gang, I hope everyone has a great Friday.
I am considering getting a spare cluster and cutting it to fit the new aftermarket gauges.
I know the original fuel gauge will never work with a later series sending unit.
The speedo and temp gauge needles are all messed up, plus it doesn't have amp or oil gauges.
It has the idiot lights and they are not even connected. Not sure what to do yet as $ is always a factor.

Morning All,
Wow...What a week. Thank God it's Friday!
I hope you have a Fantastic Friday & a enjoyable weekend.
Saturday I start working at Top Gun Raceway again. It's the 1st race of the season, so I can't wait to get out there to watch the races & see everyone again.
Have a good day!

Good day to all here at FTE ... I've not disappeared, just hibernating out here in wonderful Pahrump Nv. ... been doing some wood working projects. Made a potting bench for my roommate and going to start building some stand alone shelving for garage storage (never enough of that) they should be able to hold 200 lbs (or more) per shelf, for a total of 800 lbs.!!! so that will keep me busy for a while !!! Hope everybody has a great weekend ... as always, play safe and be careful !!! Fords are in my heart, just not my driveway ... for now !!! Dave

Hi Gang! Good to see all you trucksters on here today. Happy Friday!
Greg, it is possible to modify the circuit to make a mis-matched gauge and sender work together.
Let me know if you want to discuss it.
