Well the trip to the yard yielded nothing.
I found a 72 lwb f250 4x4 but it was completely gutted and trashed.
Next oldest thing I found was an 84 Ranger.
On a side note, the bed on my truck is just over 6 foot.

Morning everyone, I hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend.
Now it's back to the general grind.
I plan to finish the turn signal switch install today.
Trying as I can to take it very slow, but only so long I can lay on the couch.
I took it apart Saturday and will put that back together today.
This is one job I can do without irritating my stitches.
Still thinking it's a bad idea to try and run the permanent wires and mount for the fuel gauge because of the bending and twisting.
I really hate not being able to do the things that need to get done.

Good Monday Morning to you all,
Hope you had a Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Did you survive it without getting pinched or drinking a GREEN beer?
Our St. Patrick's Day went well.
We started the morning off prepping the corned beef & cabbage for dinner, then we went to check out & bought Jimmy a little economy car, so he'd quit using the 4Runner when it gets fixed.
It's a 91 Subaru Legacy Wagon 4WD. It was a 1 owner car (bought new) with all of the repair receipts over the years included! It's super clean inside & out, power everything & it all works, but the automatic transmission hesitates to shift through the gears when in "Drive", but you can manually shift through the gears yourself & it goes just fine! It's a zippy lil' car!
So, it'll need a transmission eventually, but for $700...I couldn't pass it up! I'll try to post a picture of it later.
After we got home, I cleaned the house, made beer bread & green jello desserts, while Jimmy & the kids washed the new car. We ended the night drinking green beer & green 7up (for the kids) & eatting mint girl scout cookies while playing a few games of 10,000.
Now, that's the kind of day I like!
Have a Marvelous Monday

Good morning Donna, Greg! Nothing too special for ST. Paddy's day, I did manage to have a glass of John Jameson yesterday evening, though. Greg, didn't get to the salvage yard, the weather was terrible again. This is getting old!
