5.4 compatibility

Hi there... new to the forum. I have an 08 F150 with a 5.4 (8th digit V). The engine is siezed. While on ebay (I know... i know...) I saw something about the 4.2 being a compatible swap!?

Is this true? What mods would need to be done? Any other compatible engines with minimum mods?

x2, stick with the 5.4. Especially if you have more than a single cab 4x2 truck, a 4.2 V6 will not a whole lot of power compared to the 5.4.
