His business was hit hard during the recession. We went from doing good size commercial build outs with plenty of OT to picking at projects and about 25 hour work weeks. I've spent the last 7 years growing a small, but decent customer base and last year was my most successful year on my own. I have the best of both worlds at the moment. Work for my boss when something substantial comes up and go do my own projects when they roll in. Plus I have access to all his tools and equipment when I need them!

I hope to be doing it all next week or the week after Gabe. That is if I can figure out how to get enough money to go ahead and do e-fuel. If not, I may just sit on the injectors and HPOP until I can get an e-fuel kit.

^^^I agree.^^^

It don't take long to get the fuel bowl out, if you can't afford the efuel now, don't stretch to thin, just pull it and put it back in. Unless you have leaks, that is what I'd do. Then you can do the efuel later.

Yeah right! Like that's going to happen. You know the "kid in the candy store" metaphors? Well you're the kid and the HPOP and injectors are the candy. And I guarantee the kid don't wait till he gets home to eat the candy! Nor does he put it up for a rainy day.

You're all probably right........ LOL!!

But, really though, if I see I can manage to get the e-fuel kit in a reasonable amount of time, I may hold off......but not TOO long

Mike ran with a stock fuel didnt he? I dont think I would stress about it.IF I could swing it for inj and oil,I wouldnt let it stop me.

BUT that diesel stop kit looks promising, and I like the price also.

I really don't have the money for e-fuel right now, so in all reality I probably will just put my fuel bowl back for a while. Darin is right, if I tried to do it now, I would be stretching it very thin. I would have to dip into my RRE savings, and I don't want to do that! I put in a new fuel pump and rebuilt the bowl and FPR less than a year ago, all new o-rings and hoses, so I guess I just need to come down out of the clouds and face it.......but it will get done before RRE!

After I eat supper, I'm going out to the shop and get the injectors and HPOP pulled from the engine on the stand. I gotta give Jim, Joey and No Limit one last call, and get everything sent off this week.
