2001 Ford F250 4x4 – 7.3L PowerStroke Diesel – Runs Like New - $13500
2001 Ford F-250 SuperDuty 4-door SuperCab 4x4 with the legendary 7.3L PowerStroke Diesel.
177,000 miles, many new or upgraded parts. It always got the parts and service it needed.
2 Owner truck that was always well maintained. I purchased in Jan. 2006 with 128,500 miles and diligently maintained the truck as this was going to be my “forever truck”. I have since had a baby and found that cab space is more important that bed space and bought a 2001 Ford Excursion with the 7.3L. This is my only reason for selling.
AC, heat, 4x4, power windows, power door locks, radio, remote starter all work excellent. AC is ice cold.
When I purchased the truck the following was done at a local ford shop:
4 new ball joints, track bar, stabilizer shock
New axles with automatic and manual override lockout hubs (new seals, etc)
4 in exhaust
Upgraded rear differential cover for additional cooling
Service History: (logged)
Had a rebuilt Ford transmission replaced shortly before I purchased
Oil change every 5,000 miles
Air filter clean as needed or 5k and new every 10k
New Fuel filter every 10k
Coolant flush and fill every 2 years
Transmission service and filter – every 30k
Transfer case, front and rear differential service – every 30k
(Oil change, fuel filter, air filter, trans service, and 4 new Rancho shocks were done at last service 176k)
Fuel additive used in every tank of fuel
Interior:
Grey cloth in almost excellent condition. 1 small tear (1 in) long in drivers seat. Was there when I bought it and has not increased in 7 years. Carpet, dash, headliner, all excellent. Truck equipped with remote start, electric windows and door locks, cd, and towmaster.
Paint/Exterior:
Very nice. I would give it a solid 8 out of 10. Shines like new but has a few minor flaws. No dents in the body panels, just a few minor paint nicks which are very hard to spot unless you’re looking. Front bumper has a dent in one side but is not noticeable with the chrome. Plastic bed liner.
Tires:
Tires are roughly 40%. BFG All Terrain, load range E. Still have 20k or so left on them. Wheels are excellent.
Needs:
Nothing but a new home. Starts, runs, drives excellent.
