Dana 44 front axle

Newb questions for what I think is a 1976 F100 Dana 44 front axle...can you get a powertrax for a front axle? Is it adviseable to do this or is it better to leave the front alone? I want to put a Powertrax in the rear.

If this is a street driven truck only i'd leave the front open and put the 500 bucks elsewhere, but yes the Powertrax units can be installed up front.
