David I select the area I wish to copy.
In this case I rotated it to fit my screen.
I then used Ctrl + Print screen to save it to my computer.
Open paint and paste the screen shot to a new file.
You can then play with it adding labels and such using paint.
Click on the file button and save as a PNG in Pictures.
I then select the picture from my Photo Gallery.
Right click and "Open With" Picasa Photo Viewer.
I then upload it to my web albums.
I select it out of my Web albums and Size it then right click and "copy image location".
I then paste it to my post the same as any image.

With Google Earth the view is default orientated with North at the top of the screen.
I needed the screen shot to be wider in the North/South direction.
So I used the rotation dial in the upper right of Google Earth to change the view.
The picture I posted has the North to the right side of the screen.
I work with a 32" 9:16 widescreen monitor.
You can disregard the rotation part of the instructions.

Hello Mississippi. Well we went to a auction today, guess what, I bought another truck. 97 F-250 extended cab - 2 wd (for now) - five speed - 7.3. I got a little to do on it. Do they have a rehab for Ford truck buyers.

Thanks Bryan, I'll give it a shot. The capture part was my biggest Q.

Steve, I'm pretty close to Whitfield, I can call & ask...

David and I spent several hours at the local pull a part today, had a good time but didn't come away with much. I found what I need for my next project, fan shroud from 86 F150 with 300 I6. That with the electric fan from a Jeep...not a bad fit at all.

Anybody wants a NASCAR style pit crew who does nothing but pull door lock actuators out of early 90s Tauruses (Tauri?) Thomas & I are your men. Of course I'm still not sure if I can get the sucker back in to replace the busted one I got. I'm going to have to get creative with how to improvise a plunger bellows.... Thinking rubber... like an un-lubed prophylactic.

I know one thing, I managed to turn my hands into so much hamburger. Dang if they ain't sore as hell this morning. My wrists look worse than a girlfriend I had in high school. Working inside doors will do that crap. Thomas was a champ. even with his broken finger.

Bryan, the first wave skirted us up here but looking at the radar this AM we're gonna get the snot kicked out of us. I'm really getting tired of all this water. I'm sure we'll turn around & have severe drought later this summer. Par for the course.

I gotta hit the pull a part pretty soon. I've got to find a seat motor and a door panel piece for the Merc. Ordered a boat load of parts from rock auto last night. Gonna be good times coming soon to a redneck shop near you!!

They had a bunch of Ford/Merc SUVs for sure. But they're also cleaning out isles pretty quick too.

When I checked their inventory online, they had 1 Explorer and 1 Mounty of the correct generation for the parts I need. They were relatively recent additions if memory serves. Hopefully they'll be there when I finally get my **** over there.....

Saw both of them Sunday Redwood, they have been picked pretty hard already so you had better hurry. I am heading to Baton Rouge Saturday and am going to try pull a part there.
