That truck looks pretty straight and solid for 50 years old, good luck with the project.
If you look in the bone yards maybe you can find a late 1999 to early 2000 Crown Vic cop car (has P71 in VIN) with 3.55 gears and trac lok, narrower axle width than 2003 and later Crown Vic and Grand Marquis.

Yeah not bad for 50 years old lol, Ive got the steer box out and sold and also the straight axle is out and a guy wants that and the 292 and the bellhousing. So ive made $350 so far off the parts I don't need lol. $50 more and I'll have my $400 back I gave for the truck. Gonna get the front frame all smoothed out and primed then prob get started on the floors and cab mounts. Might mount the crown vic suspenson after that so I can roll it around. That's about all Ive got done before the snow came. Shes stuck outside for awhile I have 3 mustangs taken up my garage space lol.

Well just got back on the 63 been busy all summer on other stuff, got the front suspension mounted still deciding if I should box the frame where the back bolts go threw for the CV plates I used pretty heavy square tube weld between rails. Got the filler neck hole welded shut and the drivers side floor weld in and made my own cab mounts. Long ways to go but haven't dumped to much cash into it yet. Used the app on phone to update what I've done but haven't figured out pics yet.

Looks good. Keep them coming. I am wanting to do the same build that you are doing. Unibody with CV front end. I havnt found a truck yet, but an in the process of trying to find one. I plan to put a EFI 5.0 in mine with AOD. Just a nice mild little crusier for me and the wife
