High idle.

So, I finally chased down most of my issues since doing the cam & headers. Tonight I fixed my code 172 (new fuel filter did it), and the idle went up even more (from ~1300 to ~1600). I plan on checking the TPS output again tomorrow, but the computer supposedly zeros at key-on. Tomorrow I will also pull the plug on the IAC and check the adjustment screw. Anyone have any other ideas to run down?
Thanks in advance,

-Mike

What is the engine RPM when you have the IAC plug disconnected? Should be around 675 - 725. Either way, it should drop considerably when you disconnect it. What's your timing set at? Remember elevated timing will also increase idle RPM.

If the Idle stayed high, either:
1) the IAC is stuck
2) throttle blades are improperly adjusted
3) you have a vacuum leak

The engine *should* die with the IAC unplugged if everything is set up properly.

My issue is (still) a vacuum leak.
