I've spent the last couple months working on my 87 f350 dump truck while simultaneously looking at different potential donor vehicles for a cab swap. I finally instead decided on a truck swap for my dump box and rebuilt, still on the engine stand 460.

My 'new' truck is a 89 superduty. I had it hauled here from southern Missouri yesterday. After having the two side by side, the SD makes my little 350 look like a half ton. The 89 did not come with an engine, trans or driveshafts.

My 87 has the T-19 and the Sterling 10.25. I was kinda hoping to be able to use the T-19 in the 89 but I dont know if there is an available driveshaft that will work with the Dana 80.

It looks like the trans crossmembers are in the same place between the two trucks, as well as the crossmember for the center carrier bearing, so I think my 87 intermediate driveshaft and carrier bearing will work. In which case I would need to come up with a new rear ds. Does anyone have any specs or ideas?

I'm at this point because I am ready to buy a clutch kit, but I dont want to buy one for the T-19 if the best way to get this to work is to find a ZF5.

My next question is going to be about the hydroboost on the 89, but I have some reading to do on that first.
