My son wanted one so we traded. I have a couple AR's one in .223 and one in 300 whisper.

 

300 Whisper huh. I just finished building a suppressed 300 blackout, almost the same thing but not as quiet as the Whisper.

Can't have too many firearms, that is for sure!

I am not reloading sub sonic, so it is not that quiet.

 

If you decide to reload subsonic, trial the trail boss powder. It fills the case well so you dont get that vertical pressure spike that you get from just dramatically lowering the powder charge. I do 220grainers and they are really quite and cycle. Have some pretty nice ss .308 loads too. Nothing in .223 though.

 

I am loading 150 grainers. Reloading is the only way I can shoot. I used to do a bit of CAS and NCOWS shooting.

 

Reloading once you get the equipment is a huge cost saver.

 

I need to get an area setup dedicated to reloading. I have a single stage on a portable stand and a progressive setup in my computer room for 45 colt.
