Good afternoon guys. I need another doctor. My doctor doesn't think I need an MRI, he thinks it's just arthritis. I want a second opnion. I know I tore it again, I knew the minute I did it last August! So, gave me another damn cortisone shot (which might last a week or two. I'm going to go to the guy that did my wife's knee. My doctor wants me to get a series of injections, and wear a brace on my leg, like frickin' Forrest Gump. Oh, goodie, I too can have 'Magic Legs". I think, um...NOT!
I have a fresh glass mat, and a brand new can of resin, So I can make any kind of cast/ brace you need. I also have some stainless fasteners left over from building the 56, we can attach them to the bone with the cordless drill driver, and then I can tig some hardware to that. Might not pass the airport tsa, but you like the cavity search anyway,so just go to the airport an extra hour early.
I can start as early as tomorrow. , Today is out, I have to go eat my steamed crabs for dinner....

Pat's been taking "whining" lessons from Rob.
Sounds like a plan, Charlie. Between the 2 of us we should be able to get Pat straightened out (or really messed up more)
Pat, a 2nd opinion wouldn't hurt at all. Any doc near you that specializes in sports medicine. Last guy I went to did a series of injections on my left knee prior to replacing both knees. Didn't go back for replacements....still hobbling around.

Pat...it's set...surgery at 10 tomorrow morning...Charlie operating...Rob assisting...I'll be video taping. No backing out now...and...nothing to eat or drink after midnight.
