Thought I'd share my experience with an aftermarket appearance warranty purchased from the dealer. $399 and it covers leather & paint. Filed a claim for my armrest and seats due to normal wear and bugs plastered on my front bumper. They've made attempts to clean and re-color the seats and the bumper but wasn't quite satisfactory. Now, they're ordering new leather and going to re-paint the bumper. No issues with the claim process and they're not putting up any fight. Great deal!

Company is PermaPlate. They offer coverage for windshields, fabric, leather, vinyl and paint. You have to be meticulous with filing claims, but its well worth it. I filed my claims as stated above, and they detailed my truck today and conditioned the leather. They did all that to make sure it was nice and clean for the interior specialists to work. If you file a claim for debris being embedded into the clear coat, they'll even clay bar the truck. It's good for 7 years, unlimited miles. It's also required that you make an effort to clean and fix paint chips to prevent further damage. They even "retreated" the interior and exterior with their protective coatings.
I think what makes it great is that PermaPlate sub contracts out the claims to another company/individual contractor in your area to inspect and handle your claim. It's in their best interest to get the claim accepted and processed so they get paid.
Also, I had two small stains on my carpet and they shampooed the entire carpet and retreated it with their "stain blocker." The tech that worked on my truck today, also found some other areas that I had missed and took photos, cleaned and submitted to PermaPlate for me.
