Is this this so that every time you have to work under the dash laying on the floor you can curse the day you installed a floor shifter?
I'm guessing a lot of work as shifter solenoid lockout and column locks would have to be transfered as well. Maybe a junkyard truck of your year with a console shift would be an easier exchange as all parts are there.

I've seen it done once on another forum. Look up Patman on F150online.com to completely discourage yourself from attempting this. Cool as it would be, looks like a big pain. Maybe something like a Mustang shifter would work better than the one he used. I think they'll be bulky either way.
