When I get down close to the e my fuel pressure gauge will fall off long before the truck starts to have symptoms.these guys are not steering you wrong in my opinion.

If it does it on both tanks then I don't believe it would be a pickup tube. I don't typically run my tanks below 1/4 though. Does this situation happen with a full tank too?
The gurgling sound should be the fuel returning to the tank, as it was designed to do.
I'll do whatever I can to help, but it would be more helpful to know what it does with fuller tanks. Help rule out a couple of issues. Post back when you do that.
the other thing i failed to mention was when we pulled the injectors.... the one on the drivers side closest to the dash almost shot out due to high fuel preasure. is that normal? and that oring was junk.
No, that is not normal. Which O-ring was junk? Is that the first injector you pulled on that side? Did you check down inside the injector cup to make sure you didn't have an extra copper washer in there?
cracked pick up tubes....im not familiar. does eachvtank have a pick up tube? so i would have to have two cracked pick up tubes!?
IIRC the rear tanks pickup tube is positioned weird.
But anyways, both pickup tubes sit about an inch or 2 off the bottom of the tank.
So there is a gallon or 2 of fuel always in the bottom.
Then if it is cracked anywhere above that....
The hutch mod is a great mod to get the best out of your tanks and eliminate the possibility of cracked pickup tubes because everything is stainless going back in.
