I 'm sorry for your loss . I know that does not help . At least for those who give us love like no other this is the least we can do . My wife and I have had to have 3 put down in the last 28 years .
Sorry to hear you lost your bestest friend. I always look at pictures of mine still brings me joy that I had them in my life. They seem to make us smile when we think of them even when thier gone.
I understand your grief Garry, I had to put my 15 year old Aussey down last year. It hurt for long time but like others mentioned just remember the good times and gets easier with each passing day. Smiling now just thinking about him.
This thread is putting a lump in my throat and blurring my eyes. I understand the pain Gary, and know that words will not make it any less painful. A dog's love is unconditional. I just gave my baby an extra pet and hug for you.
Garry, I know what you are feeling buddy. I cried like a baby when my Springer Spaniel, Lacy got out down. Remember that your dog is in a better place buddy. You did the right thing and doing what you did for your dog is part of being a good owner and friend. RIP Bandit.
Garry we are so sorry for your lost. I was fortunate to have 4 horses, 3 cats, 2 dogs and 1 daughter. max the mutt was my only male buddy in the house he was with me for 17 plus years. After we lost him I said no more for about 4 years then Gracie came along and she is my buddy that goes everywhere and gives unconditional love. don't wait too long before you find another Bandit as they really do make life better and more fulfilling. You may never be able replace Bandit but you can find room in your heart for another almost like him and I'm sure Bandit would be honored.
Garry I am sorry you lost your buddy...I don't know what else to say, but I also know that pain..yet we still go out and get more pups to fall in love with.
I have 2 Boston Terriers 1 male and one female. Oscar and Emma.
Greatest dogs I ever had. The day will come and it will be misery. But that's life worth living.
Sorry to hear of your loss Garry, from what I have heard, Bandit was a GREAT dog! He may have given unconditional love, but I am quite sure he received unconditional love as well.....honor him by keeping the good times near your heart,
w
