The way I see it pretty vehicles win, goofy ones don`t. It may seem goofy to you but obviously not to many others.

So every vehicle that wins a show is pretty looking? All trophy winners, all goofy looking. I suppose since they won a trophy you find them pretty though?

Proof that goofy looking vehicles can still win an award. Based on the quality of restoration I assume.

i think its called a landstar. and no i deal with the pst. with a 15l. maxforce.. 10 speed. those engines will drink the A/F. we have 4 of them. and tranny air leaks. behind the engine and on top of the tranny. i had to snake up in the frame and fix it.

The Lonestar is a different looking truck that's for sure. Most guys either love 'em or hate 'em. Me personally I'm kinda indifferent to them. Haven't drove one so I can't say for sure.

If I were looking to buy a highway truck, I think it would likely be 9900 International or a W900. If I wanted a gravel truck or oilfield truck, it'd be a C500 Kenworth, those look tough as hell!!

my dad had a w900 kw and thats a big truck. i have worked on it. and the lonestar is a big rig. i've only seen a couple on the road. i work on KW and international trucks. and all in between. but thats the best looking truck i have seen yet. some of the custom ones are cool. but for a factory built truck its unique.i work on all sorts of trucks and trailers.

That first car is a very nice looking Alfa Romeo....beautiful cars, advanced engineering for their time. That Alfa looks relatively stock except for the wheel wells and larger tires. Just some minor mods.

The Italian police, the Carabinieri use Alfa Romeos as police cars....hard to out run on twisty, high speed roads.

The also use BMW and Moto Guzzi for their police motorcycles. I think police in Canada could take a note from their book and use BMW police package motorcycles...fast, quick, brake well, handle well and are reliable.

That second photo of the Toyota FJ Cruiser....I like them stock. I don't care for that one.

The third photo of the '80's Buick...not impressed. Now a stock black Buick GNX of that era is a beauty...also with it's turbocharged Buick 3800 V6...extremely quick.

So preppy in the end I mostly agree with you...except for that Alfa.

Les

the alfa romeo is pretty cool. there are alot of trucks and cars that i think are cool looking.. some stock cars are cool looking. if built tastefully..
well if you built it, its an extention of your personality. and the way you take care of your rig...
even a pos can look cool if your willing to put forth the effort! i think stock cars are cool before they get beat up. then it biulds charactor.
