I figure in Utah there was alot more open space, I guess not. What does a acre of land go for out there?

Just to provides some perspective, an acre of buildable land for three homes here in my area of Commifornia is... $800,000.

160 acres, 5600ish sq ft house w/6 bd room 4 bath for alot less than that....375,000

{houston} - {missouri} - {Remax}-{southwest missouri}-{missouri}-{farms}-{river}-{texas county}

Sorry for the thread high jack I am shocked at the property cost out there.....makes it hard to have more than one Ford truck.
