hello all, I am new to the FTE an just found the Nevada branch area.
so to introduce myself, my name is Greg and I have been in Vegas for a year. Fresh from Florida and wanting to get a project. I even have permission from the wife

early 50's Ford F series truck. Not looking to go original as far as drive train so mainly need a decent body and frame. Depending on what I have to spend would be nice to get something that would possibly run but not a necessity.
Edit: by decent body and frame I am refering to as little serious rust as possible.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I hope to be able to be a useful addition to the group. I am not in a hurry to find a project right now and I am learning all I can about what ways to go with one when I do. I am looking but can wait to buy until I find that perfect deal. For now I am happy with learning all I can to have a better idea how to approach my dream truck.

WOOHOO...it's Wednesday! Happy Hump Day everyone!
Welcome to FTE Greg.
Time to take Olfthfl out for a spin this morning. I just got her back after a month, from loaning her to a friend while her car was broken down. I know she was in good hands, but actually I missed seeing her in a parking spot. LOL!
I hope everyone enjoys thier day & is ready for the winter weather that's coming in tomorrow.

Well,howdy there FTE I guess I didn't realize that October thing was gone ...wondered why I hadn't seen anything in my inbox DUH!!!! Does this mean I'm getting old ...Well I'm back but my computer is not...It's fixed but not returned yet.... this is hard to do from my phone...it should be back next week. Stay safe & keep warm. It's supposed to be super windy here today-35 mph winds w/ gusts up to 60mph! YUCK!!!
I think it's about that time again... time to prep the vehicles for winter weather! Be sure to carry extra water (including drinking water), vehicle fluids, a gas can w/ $, a blanket, shovel, chains, tow straps, change of warm/dry clothes & anything else you can think of, MRE's or crackers to hold you over until help arrives should you break down or get stuck somewhere!
