Advice on buying a new PCM

I am going to buy a new PCM and I need an A9P and I have a few questions

Is it worth buying a remanufactured PCM? Should I buy a PCM and have it remanufactured?

Also. Someday I thought I'd change from the E4OD to a manual trans. Is that possible with the A9P? Can I change some of the settings in the PCM to be able to use the A9P with a manual trans? Or what would be needed?
Or, if I need to buy an A9L for a manual trans, could I apply the same tune to that as what's on my A9P?

Thanks
