why are they called dentsides
does anyone know why the 1973-1979 ford trucks are reffered to as dent sides. granted my bed has a massive dent in it where original owner dropped a tree on it

They are called "dent sides" because of the indent that runs along the side of the truck.

Just like the previous generation of trucks are called "bumpsides" because they have a hump that runs the length of the truck
