Pictures: hot rods on the beach 2012

Went to a carshow today and thought I'd share some pix. First the trucks:

1956 Ford truck

another '56

1957 Ranchero

1948 F1 - notice that it has a slight chop. Probably easier to see from the inside. I normally don't like to see these cabs chopped but this was subtle enough to look good in my opinion.

1948 F1 interior - it's a little easier to see the chop in this shot

1940 Ford truck - I think I may have pics of this and the following truck from last year... still look good though!

1940 Ford truck

And here's the cars:

Deuce with a nailhead

1954 Mercury convertible

1946 Mercury 2 dr

1940 Ford deluxe coupe - has a super nice metallic paint job

1940 Ford deluxe convertible

1926 T speedster

Ok, so here are a couple of stumpers for those of you up for a challenge this afternoon... hint on the the first is that it is pretty rare:

Mystery car #1

The hint on the second one is that you want to look closely at the trim details. This one made me do a real double-take:

Mystery car #2

enjoy!

Last one looks like a '39 Chevy with partial Ford front fenders and headlights.

I really dig the black '40 Ford, and the Mercury sedan.

That was fast! Those teardrop headlights are pretty distinctive.

My grandpa had a '37 Ford, and I have a '39 Pontiac (with no headlights, hmm, lol) so i had an advantage, lol.

Honestly, I might have missed it if it wasn't sitting next that 1937 Ute...
