2003 5.4 too rich on bank 2
Hey Gents,
My '03 f-150 is telling me that bank 2 is running too rich.
It just rolled 200000 Kms and I just had the head gasket done.
I haven't been under the hood yet but the truck is idling fine and is burning A LOT of fuel. (even more than normal)
Since it is only happening in 1 bank I have ruled out any problem with the MAF. A few guys have suggested a vacuum leak, but I think that a vacuum leak would probably cause the motor to run lean. correct me if I'm wrong.
So far my best guess is a bad injector.
Has anyone tested injectors on these babys before?
- How long is the rail supposed to stay pressurized after the motor shuts off?
- How much pressure is supposed to be in there?
Anybody else have any other ideas?
