Interior lighting 1998 Explorer

Can anyone tell me how many lights are in a 1998 Explorer? Like how many bulbs in the front dome light, second dome (is there one), cargo area. Also how many for the license plate? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Awesome, thank you. Could you also tell me if there are 1 or 2 license plate lights, and is there a light in the ash tray?

My ex is a 98 RHD version for use in the UK where we have large number (license) plates. I have two plate lights each with a T10 5W bulb. Hope this helps.

PS, I have replaced a lot of my small bulbs with LED bulbs off ebay. I've tried replacing ther rear lights but I haven't found LEDs bright enough for the job. You can save a lot of current drain by replacing all the dash lights. The stock bulbs are T10 3W, but you need to replace them with T10 smd lamps to get the necessary light spread. Have fun!

Thank you for the info, I appreciate it. That's where this is headed. I'm digging the info up for a fellow member who wants to switch to LED.
