I was recently told that I could "bleach" the ford symbol on the front of my truck to turn it from blue to just a black background and silver lettering. Has anyone ever heard of this or something similiar? My ford symbol is peeling and deteriorated anyways so I want to give it a try. Thanks for the help

 

I just replaced the Oval on my 06. There are many on Ebay & Amazon, and I believe some offered in black.

For the record it is not called Blue Oval for no reason.
