I wouldn't give him $7500 for it, but you are sure right, an interesting way to sell his Travelall.

He paints a good verbal picture of it, and the photos do put it in a good light!

But still......

Those things are kinda neat. I had a '73 for a short (very short) time in the late 80's and it wasn't too bad at all. 327, 3 on the tree...pretty fun.

Dude is a good marketer, I'd say he'll get his price or close to it. But, I'm with Marv...7500 is too much for me.

Do the model come with the truck? If so, I'll buy it!

Wow, just heard about Michael Clark Duncan. Have two of his movies (never saw The Green Mile) Scorpion King, and The Whole Nine yards.

Note to self: Remember not to tear the end of your index finger off again.

Urgent care #1: "We're full, can't take you."

Urgent care #2: "4 hours +"

ER #1: "We don't quote times, but we have people who have been waiting 4 hours".

Er #2: "Walk right in, sit right down...." In and out with 9 stitches in under an hour.

Best part is I did catch the falling garage door opener, saving a $350 item.

If you are a veteran, you can go to the local VA hospital and get that kind of service too. I will never again go to a civilian hospital's ER room. Reminds me of a meat packing plant.

Not a vet, but you are right about the ER. Could not believe I got in and out at the other ER, under 3 miles from the other 3.

I was going to go buy some superglue and glue it/tape it if that was a fail.

Guess I'll check Netflix for some "Working Safe At Home" videos.....

WebMD is all you need, Ed...of course in this situation, you probably would have also needed someone to do the typing for you

Be aware that not all VA facilities have an Emergency Room. Usually, only the larger hospitals (and NOT clinics) will have an ER.

The VA West L.A. hospital's ER typically has a MUCH longer wait than the local Providence or Kaiser ERs.

Depending on my "emergency", I might just go to whatever is available quickly! When seconds count, I may be only hours away!

Just passed smog with the P-Stroke.

Not OBD-II compliant, no CAT, not chipped, what's not to pass?

Tech was there by himself, so I did the SNAP test while he watched the tailpipe.

He could have cared less about the 6637.

That's two smog tests and three registrations this month. Next time it will be three and three when the Pilot turns five.

Always nice to get those out of the way.

BTW thanks for reminding me, Marv...I forgot my '94 is due by the end of the month!

I'd bet your 4R100 is really an E4OD.

That's about as reliable a drive train combination as you can get in a gasser!

No, it's a 4r.

I know this because I had to have it replaced when we were up in Oak Harbor, Wa back in '05...it gave up the ghost at 180k.
