Injector install rip-off!?
So my truck '05 F350 started running very rough with a bad vibe on acceleration. I scanned it and the only code was P0264 #2 injector circuit low. I just recently changed the oil/filter so I figured I would change the fuel and air filters before anything else. I did that and I though it was a little better but the same rough running and the light came on again. I brought it to the dealer cause I was pressed for time they said that the #6 injector was bad? I said to go ahead and replace it because of my time constraint. I picked it up today for a grand total of $1015!!!! I was questioning the cost and also the #6 injector.
I took her home (3 miles away) and took a look under the hood... It seems that the #6 injector hasn't even been changed! I know it's very hard to see the small part of the injector plug under the harness plug but I think you would see some witness marks at all!! I have a pic of the #6 injector please could someone post it for me (dont know how) then u guys can let me know what you think but I think I got ripped off and I am not sure what to do now.....

That is about exactly what I got charged for dealers to change two injectors (one at a time). Cost of the injector plus 4.5 hours labour plus incidentals plus tax = a thousand bucks. Ripped off? No, welcome to dealers and book rates. You do get a years warranty on the parts and labour, though. Is it running better? Did the check your FICM voltages and fuel pressure? FP needs to be 60 psi at idle, not the 45 psi that is the Ford minimum.

New or reman, the visible part of the injector plug should have the new black plastic color, not the dusty/greasy appearance of the surrounding area of the rocker housing yes the truck runs good now, but how do I know they didn't just fiddle with the harness or something?
Can someone please post a pic for me? Or how do I do it myself?

I know the pics aren't the greatest, but it isn't exactly the most accessible area on the truck. So what you guys think? I'm mostly looking at the part below the metal clip. I would imagine that to be clean black plastic, and not have the same crusty coating as the rest of the area. What would you do as a next step? I am positive that the pics are of the #6 injector, and thats what it says they replaced on my receipt.

Def none on the passenger side, and def not #4 or #8. I can't get a good look at #2 due to its location. I may go there tomorrow in the am and see if I can ask the tech which one he replaced. If he points to #6 I think we may have a problem, if he points to #2 I would feel a tiny bit better as that is the code I originally read, but still doesn't give me a great feeling seeing how dirty everything still is after they pulled everything off....
