2000 international t444e-parts

i have a IH 2000 4700 T444e (had it for about 4 weeks). i was wanting to know since the engine is pretty much the same as my 96 7.3 what parts might interchange? I am sure part #'s may be different but the parts may interchange saving a BUNCH on $$$$.

Every part would interchange.. The problem with that is every part may need to be changed to make the part you want to change work...

Why would parts ford bought through international be cheaper than going straight through international for parts?

I dont know who's cheaper?? I would assume fords parts would be marked up higher though.

It all depends on the part. I sell IH and Ford. I have to cross the numbers and check them against each other. No ryme or reason to the price, but some are cheaper from Ford, and some are cheaper through IH.

my thinking is that some parts for my 7.3 are carried at the local parts store. So if any of those parts interchange I can use them.

FTE has two Ford Dealer Parts Dept sponsors that give discounts off the actual MSRP.

Horizon Ford Truck Center in Seattle (Tukwila) WA / horizonpartsguy.com, but this may not work / This does: Look on the top of this page among the sponsors, click on PartsGuyEd.com

Tousley Ford in White Bear Lake MN / tousleyfordparts.com
