Dave, just have it hooked to your hitch when you drop the bolts. When all the bolts are out, lift the rig with your landing gear and drive away.

That's the easy part. Getting new one in could be tricky by myself. I have lots of lumber and stuff to help.

I did the exact opposite to reinstall my new box. No lumber necessary. Just my truck and 5th hitch. I set the new pinbox in the hitch, backed the box under the mounting wings, and used the landing gear to lower the RV over it. I got the front bolts in loosely and was able to raise the rear of the box the last few inches by hand and get the bolts in. Did the same on my last rig.

It took maybe 15 tries to get the box lined up with the tiny clearance in the wings but I had the time and didn't have anyone to help... My 5th airborne was about your MorRyde's weight. My Trail Air TriGlide was about double. Not that mother was heavy to do by myself.

Downloaded install instructions. Looks simple compared to combine repairs. Just not easy to get things in place. I will have a couple of beers before starting this and everything will go smooth.

Here's another question. Has anyone had a problem with the aluminum rims? I just took ours in because it looks like plastic pealing off the front rims. Warranty covered and will have new on next week. I think write up guy said they are around $800 per rim

I don't know how y'all can keep up. Just stop by to say hi and share today's catch. Got a late start today due to oil pump issues but got that fixed with gorilla glue.

Evening guys. Just getting back into the station. We just had a fatality house fire. We were first in and could do nothing. Too hot to approach without gear. The victim was gone before we even got there. He had family members across the street and they watched it all. Been busy otherwise too. Gonna try to get cleaned up and rest a bit. Have a good night.

Just ordered the MX4. I like that you can open or close the tailgate with the cover shut and locked. You can also shut the cover with the tailgate locked. You only have to open the tailgate to open the cover.
I have a hard folding tonneau by extang, but I like the BAK Flip (newer ones) because you can flip all the panels up. Problem with all of the folding hard tonneau's is the hinges wear out. My Extang which is 3 years old - is starting to do the same thing the previous one did at 1 year old, which is the hinge is failing. Now they replaced it free.

I've had roll and lock and pace edwards rolling covers - in fact I have one in my garage. The roads here twist the truck so much it pops open all the time, which is aggravating. Although from what I read, the Fiat's don't twist as much so it might not be a problem.

Finally, the new Extang folding covers will allow most of the last section to flip up. Now I can also say that out of ALL of the covers, the extang is the easiest to remove. Two wing nuts after the cover is folded. Which is nice, because sometimes you just want a completely open bed.

I'm going back to packng.

Monty have a safe 100 hour week. Geesh that's a lot!

Got a new 'fun' fact.

I parked in my new driveway - which has a pretty steep angle to it. Needed to add some fuel as I was running down and I filled up a bunch of jerry cans (Fred Meyer fuel discount was up to 35 gal of diesel for $1.61). Anyhow, I was at half tank and I could only put 2 gal in before it hit the fuel filler neck - apparently I was at a steep enough angle to prevent the vent from allowing more fuel in.

My Montana came equipped with a Moryde pin. It seems to make for a smoother ride than my previous 5ver.

I recently needed to adjust the height of it, so I strapped it to my loader bucket before removing the bolts. Then I lifted it into place with the bucket and bolted it back down. That machine is a real back saver.
