This is prolly a 1 page thread at most
Went on a trip to a private antique tractor collection.Owner was very generous with his time and happy to visit with anyone.
I couldn't tell he was the owner of large manufacturing company that he built from the beginning.
There were other colors but his favorite and mine,
We're the red ones !
The tour of the manufacturing facilities was nice, but his shop and tractor collection is unbelievable.

Wow, looks like one hell of a collection Tim! Is that an SMTA high crop in this pic? I'd have to imagine that is one rare beast if it is. I like to see all the colors cleaned up and restored. I've never managed to follow through with a resto on anything bigger than a pedal tractor! Hopefully the soon to be kiddo will like daddys old toy!
Trying to wind this week down easy, got a light work load for Friday, but not sure what tomorrow will hold. Gotta catch a plane to Atlanta Sunday and will be in work training in Cartersville, GA all next week.
Good morning guys!
I hope all of you campers had a good evening! I had a rough night with the boys proving to me that they are not the perfect young men that they usually demonstrate. They are kids and still need guidance. I'm just spoiled because I rarely have to do it. They are good boys, but both of them proved to be a challenge in unrelated events. Sheesh!!! More gray hairs for Savage
Graduation tonight for my daughter. She is excited! Mom and Dad are proud of her as well!
I forgot to tell you guys that the Troop had a trailer built custom order. Nothing fancy at all a white, tandem axle, 7 x 14 with barn doors. The company that I got my last sled trailer and another 8.5 x 28 trailer before that helped out the Troop big time. They ordered the trailer at cost (saved us approximately $2500). I couldn't find anything close to this trailer for under $4k used and abused and they charged us $3500 new. The only catch is I have to pick it up at the factory. I save the Troop about $400 doing that as well. It's done and I pick it up next week Tuesday. I'm excited!

Howdy gang! We are finally catching a few days' break from the rain, so I've been doing outside chores. I'm hoping that by this afternoon, the yard will be dry enough not to leave trenches when I run over it with the mowers.
Dak, I guess when they dropped a boulder into the aluminum bed of the F-150 to prove how weak aluminum is, they forgot that many of the end-dump dump trailers and even dump trucks use aluminum beds and don't seem to have issues.
Great memes Andre. Handling "business" with the boys now makes it less likely that someone else (wearing a badge) will have to handle business later on in life. They will try you from time to time, but they know they are loved. Awesome deal on the trailer for the Scouts.
Roy and TIm, safe travels to you and your crews. Tim, great pics.
Really enjoying the tractor ****. That was a sea of red for sure!
Matt, it is refreshing to have someone who wants to hop on the bike every time the engine is started. I went from a wife who wanted nothing to do with a bike and was scared of them, to a girlfriend who was ok with an occasional ride (now ex-girlfriend) to a wife that thinks if the engine is running, she should be on it. Mine is the Limited, and it is VERY comfortable for long hauls. While I don't spend much time on the back seat, since I can't reach the controls from back there, I have heard many times that the back seat is like sitting on a comfy couch - which really makes a difference when traveling for more than just bar hopping. My Fat Boy was grey metallic, but my Ultra is black. Not my first choice of color, but for the deal they made, black was just fine. Hope the purple works out for you.
Darren, are you guys getting any help with the fires up there with some rain yet? I keep trying to send ours up there for you.
Howdy Gerry, Scott, Dave, Don, Brett, Dave, Monty and all. Have a great day gang.

Good morning, crew ! From not so sunny Missoula, MT!
I dont know what happened yesterday, but I put a greeting on here.....I thought....but when I looked for it as a mark to start catching up to the conversation, it was nowhere to be found! So........had a good trip up, the Beast pulled the Raptor without a hiccup! Imagine that! Stopped in Idaho Falls and visited with friends there, also hoped that Roy and I could meet there as our paths crossed, but was not to be! A couple more days here, and then we start wandering to the east! Going to meet with some my cousins here for lunch today!
Later, guys! Have a great one!

Thanks Dak...I know you are all correct. Just was pretty disappointed. I'm almost over it now. I prolly will feel better when the sled trailer is completely washed and hand dried tomorrow. If that doesn't do it, the fiver could use a bath too
