Checking in real quick before getting back to preps. Thankfully, I was not seated on the jury this morning. The little town where our county court is located, is so small, you would almost expect to see the sheriff riding a horse. I've seen some "quaint" towns before, but this one takes the cake.

The trial was for a kid arrested for DWI and was expected to run through tomorrow evening. The defense attorney slipped up during questioning the potential jurors and asked if we would have a bias toward the case if we knew that the defendant blew over the limit several hours after the offense. I think she meant would we consider that the machine could have been broken to have read positive that long after the stop. In my mind, he's very luck y the test wasn't administered immediately as he was likely far enough over legal to have gone into felony DWI, instead of misdemeanor.

Monty, I guess the dogs don't like being clean.

Andre, I forgot to say congrats on the kids' achievements again.

Howdy Mitch! We have the same funky weather here and I'm about tired of it myself. Lower 40's (if that), breezy and misty rain are a bad combination. We just barely missed the ice and snow this far south.

Yes, and come to think of it, I never saw a single traffic light. There were a few stop signs, but no lights. Around here, the litmus test for whether a place is a "real" town or not is whether or not they have a Walmart. The closest they have there is a Family Dollar. There wasn't even a Sonic. More than half of the vehicles there were pickups. Go figure.

Sounds like the majority of "towns" around here!

I bet you are glad you were not picked anyways, so it worked out.

Garage Light......LED

I was in Sam's Club......always cost me money....
I saw a overhead shop light. Like a twin tube fluorescent, 4' bulbs. This is LED. $35. so, I bought one....it is very bright (more so than the fluorescents) and of course won't have problems with the very cold temps.

Looks nice Roy!
How do you feel it compares to the T5 h.o. lights? Was thinking about swapping out my old T12 fixtures.

Does as good or better....I have both. T12 and T5. This is what I'll get, plus lower electric bill.
