LOL, they say you are what you eat, or something like that. Me I keep removing the carpet on the workbench and then after a bit get tired of hardwood and go back to carpet.

Busy busy aren't we. Shutters sound good. I've been working on the laundry room, last room of the house to reno. Regrouted the tile (not going to tear out the tile here, had enough of that doing the rest of the house), built a cabinet, counter over the machine, boxed the vent pipe, still have to retrim, new closet door and repaint it all.

Monty, where's the camping trip this time?
We will be going to Victoria Bryant State Park again this coming weekend. We went in late spring/early summer and really had a great time. Very nice park.

The tepee is probably for peace pipe activities! Every music festival needs a smoking lodge.

Roy, good job on the shutters, but you know the rules. Pics?
Tim, the festival looks like fun.

Good morning Gerry, Dak, Matt and others. The "cold" front finally blew through last night. I woke up to 66° this morning. Better grab my jacket and gloves, and start plugging my truck in again. Have a great day gang.
Aye Aye Sir !!

Yeah, even when you lose an engine, you can glide all the way to the scene of the crash.

....or maybe glide to a great landing..........

Years ago in Blacksburg VA, I was flying a Cherokee 140 with 3 passengers. We had just taken off and the engine coughed and died. As I was checking fuel tank selector...Electric fuel pump booster on....I was turning to another runway and set the bird on the inactive runway....
Everything happened so quick......I didn't even have time to mess my pants.......

I was fortunate enough to have never actually lost an engine, but my instructor had a sick sense of humor and was always pulling throttle at the worst possible times to simulate a lost engine. Sometimes, it was in or near the pattern and ended in a textbook landing. Other times, we scared livestock in a field somewhere as he wouldn't give my throttle back until I was in my flare. It was fun and great practice, but I always hoped the engine would come from idle to full power without a hiccup. Once, when he did that, I flew under power lines that neither of us saw crossing a 4 lane highway at dusk.

Tim, glad you enjoyed the festival. Too bad about missing the lodge.

Good morning gang!
We had the pleasure of attending an Eagle Scout ceremony last night. One of our boys (in the troop, not literally my boys) made it to Eagle. It was outstanding ceremony and the boy worked his tail off. We were ALL very proud of him and it helped motivate mine as well

Have a great day guys!
