Morning gang. Just doing a quick check in with you guys. Hope all is going well and you have great day off. No such luck for me.
The radiator's top seam let go on my Excursion yesterday on the way home from work. I'm sure that will be fun to replace this week. But, it's got 225k miles on her and all she's had is an alternator. 2 starters, and glow plugs/module.
Still no word on camper from dealer. Didn't expect it until mid week anyway. Started getting ready for vacation over the weekend. Really looking forward to the 10 days off. It will be the longest vacation I've ever taken.
Roy, Dak, Tim, Don, Steve, Rodney, Doug and the rest of you guys have a good, short week.

Howdy Monty. Hope you aren't too busy today.
It was a rough weekend out my way. More flooding in the area and even worse than previous floods. My wife couldn't make it home from work Friday night, but after navigating through some high water, she was at least able to make it to a friend's house for the night and then we found some clear roads for her to get home Saturday morning. We needed to go a few towns over to pick up some critter feed, and the route took us over on of the flooded rivers nearby. On either side of the river was a very large cow pasture that was under water. There was a massive cattle rescue under way with lots of stock trailers, horses, DPS Troopers, tons of airboats, and even two small helicopters.
Prior to seeing any of that, we passed along a stretch of highway where a tornado had flattened several residences, business and ripped up lots of tree and highway signs. All of this was within 15 miles of my place - as the crow flies.
In the area we just moved from, they had record flooding, numerous high water rescues and basically everyone was trapped for 12 hours or more by high water. Even if you were on high ground, you couldn't get out due to water over every possible route away. One of our former neighbors lost their horse and donkey. Another friend of Jodi's house burned to to the ground yesterday.
It is one thing to see the headlines on the news. It is another to experience them. I made it home Friday morning about 30 seconds before one round of the storms came through - and that was only because I left work 45 minutes early after seeing radar. Jodi went to work between storms Friday. Her boss (the owner of the store) didn't think there was any reason to close for the day, or even to close early. He ended up getting stuck at the store until 19:00 Saturday night because of his decision to keep the store open past noon Friday. Every route he could take to get home from the store was closed due to high water. Jodi just flat out told him she wasn't staying and left at 14:00 Friday against his wishes. Thankfully, it hasn't rained since 19:00 Friday night and the waters have receded in most areas, and the forecast doesn't call for significant rain chances again until Wednesday and Thursday.
Have a nice Memorial Day holiday for those who get the day off.

Good Memorial Day morning merry crew!
Here I am, sitting in airport in Bismarck ND, waiting to fly back home. Had to come up for a HS graduation, and a good time was had by all.
Sorry to hear of more bad weather, Doug! It sucks!
Hope all have a great day, and those that are fighting nasty storms, make the best of it!

Howdy Adam........May Peace come to your life. Take care my friend.
Thanks again for the warm wishes guys. It was messy, but Jodi and I, as well as our critters and property are all safe and sound. My brother lost a few more trees, but all of his family and critters are ok as well.
A burger sounds good, but I'm working days at the perfume factory this week, so I'll live vicariously through you all.

That would be nice! I enjoy their burgers, but I think the closest one from work is almost the same time and distance as the trip home, but in the opposite direction. I'll go visit with Ms Jodi instead. I like her burger too!
