Who is the RV Tech........
The fridge quit in the 5th wheel. Dometic, AC / LP
Controls work....in AC mode the heating element gets hot. In the LP Mode the gas ignites. Neither the fridge nor freezer get cold. 12VDC Supply is present. AC 115V is present. Fuses are good. Cused at it....didn't help.
Any words of wisdom ????

Howdy guys
I will get you some info, for your system it would be a very easy install. Basically it varies the speed of your pump to pump more hot water when it is colder outside ans less when it is not so cold. You can customize the speed curve for whatever works best for you. Gives you much tighter temperature control. You may not need it .... in my basement when it was cool but not cold outside I would get a lot of overshoot. The pump would stop when the zone hit temp but the hot slab would bring it 4 - 6 deg above set point before it (the slab) cooled down. I will get you the info when I get home next week. It's cheap and it's cool so you prob gonna want it anyway
See what your guy does .... if yer not happy with it we can fix it after
Sorry Roy, I can't help.
Thanks for the words on the truck guys. It is what it is. It's just a truck. It will get sorted out one way or another. Just frustrating ...... This is the first time I bought the vehicle I wanted instead of the one I could afford. Then I spent a bunch of money getting it the way I want it with plans to keep it for 10 years. Anyway .... TRUCK!!! It's been good the last 2 days....
Have a good evening guys

Gavin you still can do it in your basement, just run the PEX & add 2 inches of concrete...
I did take lots of pics, I'm at the trailer now & I dont have the camera cord with me....

Gerry - Gotta agree with the mental illness thing and doing that to a truck, even a Dodge deserves better.
Roy - Have you hit any of the RV forums? I cannot believe that you are the first person to have this problem, unless your fridge and Darrens truck are related somehow.
Darren - I agree it is just a truck, but one that shouldnt be this difficult to fix... I know we allfeel fir your pain with it. I know I have been there wuth other vehicles.

I'm gonna redo my shop hydronic heating boiler sometime before the fall I think...
Funny, I have a Tekmar 263 kicking around in a box somewhere, except my boiler isn't even a 2 stage and I don't have a heat exchanger for domestic hot water so I wouldn't even be using half the features. Mainly I just gotta solve the hot loop and hopefully pipe it in a way that eliminates the mixing valve, as that has been problematic the past winter. I'd rather add another circulation pump than have that mixing valve.

Did my rear differential fluid change last night. First time ever for this truck.
Since I had to take the cover off, perfect excuse to change it out anyway.
I looked at the Job 1 2011 rear covers, which were aluminum, but somehow the aftermarket was still cheaper, and has a fill plug in a usable location. You know, because gravity is a thing.
Ended up going for Lucas 75-140 GL-5 because it was the cheapest option out there at $16/qt. I don't need friction modifier for an electronic locking diff anyway. I considered going to a 85 or 90 cold weight, but I wasn't sure if it was really a good idea given the winter time operating conditions.
