Thanks! That is exactly what I was looking for! Plenty of questions to follow as I get into her more. Right now, I am assessing what I have and deciding on a direction to go with her.

 

1960 Truck VIN & Rating Plate code charts omitted Dana rear axles. You didn't notice the 9 in the VIN when you posted that link. It's a 1959 .. not a 1960.

9 = 1959.

R = San Jose CA Assembly Plant.

41084 = 1959 Numerical Sequence of Assembly, the trucks specific serial number.

110" Wheelbase.

X = Goldenrod Yellow.

F10J = F100 2WD, 5,000 lbs. GVWR

22F = Assembled June 22, 1959.

F = Borg Warner T-98 4 Speed Manual Transmission.

24 = Dana 44 Rear Axle / 3.92-1 / Limited Slip / 3,300 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.

5,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

126 net HP @ 4,000 RPM.

You are correct. The title says 1960. I talked to the original owner this morning, and he will come with me to get the title corrected. Hopefully it goes smooth. Thanks!
