It will be worth it!
I've had a similar "Uh oh" moment when my guy asked for the cab and radiator support mounts and hardware. At that point I realized that I had a big pile of "stuff" that I'd not looked at in a year, and something in the back of my mind was going "uh oh". Sure enough, I had 1.6 sets of mounts, which was very confusing. And I had 1.75 sets of hardware, with some metric and some SAE. I turned to the catalog and after lots of head scratching finally worked out what was needed and documented it. So, if you have any questions about cab mounts or hardware I can send the documentation.

Well, the other day I got a call I didn't want to get. TC called me and said that the project was not as far along as Rick led him to believe it was, and that it was supposed to be essentially ready for paint, but it needed a bunch more work before that. He was going to work it in, but based on the amount of work left before it's ready for paint, he won't be able to do it. So now I have to bring it home, not much closer to being done than when I took it to Rick 18 months ago. I'm pretty bummed about it. TC was very apologetic about it, but just to big a project for him to work in.
I have some ideas on how to fix some things, and TC has offered to help me make a list of things to do, and ideas how to do them, so it's not the end of the world, but is sure is dissappointing. So that's the news on El Guapo. I'll get some pictures when I pick it up in 2-3 weeks, and get the thread going again.
Slowly, but surely. Very slowly.

Ron, I feel your pain! It seems like there is nothing quick or easy about auto restorations. All the plans at the beginning bear little resemblance to the course of things as they play out in time.
It takes a rare patience and determination (and pocketbook) to see these things through to the end. You'll get there someday! El Guapo is worth it.
We'll still be here munching popcorn in the meantime. (Nevermind, I guess FTE doesn't have the popcorn smiley...)

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. Yes, it's disappointing, but it's not the end of the world. El Guapo wasn't treated badly while it was on this phase of its (mis)adventure, so not to much that I will have to redo. Kind of looking forward to getting it home and getting back to work on it.

Don't Give up! its gonna be up and running real soon, I have decided to start my build from the ground up so I hope I take this as a learning experience
