So far yes! It's way faster then the 460 was and the fuels not even turned up yet. I can barely get a slight puff of smoke at idle when I goose it. When I get it tuned to a slight haze under acceleration, I should pick up a ton of horsepower and torque.

I highly recommend adding an exhaust brake. I have one on my '97 Dodge/Cummins 5-speed. It's the best accessory I've added to the truck. I have a push/pull on/off switch on the shift lever. Even though the truck is 17 years old and has 120,000 miles on it, I still have plenty of wear left on the original brake shoes & pads! I use the exhaust brake any time I'm slowing down for a red light or getting off an off-ramp.

It's definitely on my list of goodies.

Awesome Co425

No kidding especially with cop magnet exhaust. Gotta get my exhaust tubing.

Another update. Went down to the station and filled her to the brim with fuel. I calibrated my speedometer and I drove her about 20mi. She cruises nicely at 75. No light, no B.S. So now I'm thinking my placement of the fuel outlet is suspect in all this. So I am going to buy a bolt on fuel sump kit, pull the tank and install it right in the middle of the tank. I have a feeling that will solve this issue. Now to buy a 55 gallon drum for all this fuel!

I love the way it sounds, it sounds kinda mellow in the video, but I couldn't hear any road noise so I'll bet it isn't!

I'd love to go diesel but I love the FE's too much, so I'm putting together a 410 to run on propane. After diesel propane is the way to go.

It's not bad at idle, but after that it's super loud in the cab. The down pipe is about under my seat on the passenger side. Other than the exhaust everything is pretty quiet in my truck. I'll put up another video after I get my exhaust all finished.

Beans Diesel Sump

Yep exact one I'm going to buy. Would weld one up but no go since it has fuel in it.

Hopefully the sump solves your issues. Does your tank have any baffles in it?

Yes it does, I don't think it's enough to keep the fuel from uncovering the outlet in those left hand turns though. The issue is the tank is only 9" deep and something like 50" wide. So even at 3/4" of a tank there's plenty of room to move the fuel to one side of the truck.

Thank you.

It just takes time, money and effort. Lots of it that is.

SSSSAAAAAAWWEEEEEEEEETTT!! Sounds great. Now someone needs to be outside the truck video taping you driving by so we can see and hear her.

Great job!
