Trans Command or BTS Valve body?

For my 1997 E40D with a 460…

Which one and why?

2 totally different things.

The banks trans command is a chip for your trans and a waste of money.

Brians Valve body is a hard part that actually does something.
You could also look into Paul's (aka the Punishers) valve body. I have one in my lightning and really like it

 

But don't they both claim similar results?

How much can I expect to pay to have a valve body installed for?

I have seen the trans command 1st hand and it did NOTHING.

I installed my valve body myself(took an hour) and the truck was a completely different animal. I also added a drain plug while I had pan down

 

Is other work suggested when you have the pan off?

 

Change the filter and oil
