I had to spend the night in a strange "bed" last night.
I retrieved my rollback from the Cuimmins shop in Mobile at 7pm last night. I had made it 8 miles when the serpentine belt came apart.
I was stranded on the side of the I-10 until a tow truck could come and haul me back to the repair facility.
We had just paid $2,500.00 for a new turbo and ancillary work.
I called my BIL to pick me up at the shop (he lives 10 miles away) and he graciously allowed me the use of his couch for the night.
I'm headed to the shop in a couple of minutes so as to find out what went wrong.
From what I could determine on the roadside it looks as if the water pump failed causing the latest problem.
I'll know more in a few hours.

Morning Indiana and all of our IN friends!
Well I'm back in the office...gonna be a LOOOONG day of catching up on emails that I've been just "deleting" from the blackberry over the last 3 weeks...now I have to see what they said...LOL
Sorry for your troubles Bryan...hopefully they get it all squared away for you!
I had some minor troubles yesterday as well with the Ex...I believe the rear ABS sensor is either dirty or acting up...I believe it is only a $20 part...so I'm just going to replace it...it is what the Ex uses for speedometer determination and my speedo was all over the map and I have a stored code (but no CEL) on excessive speed and a "VCC" error?
The ABS also engages at low driving speeds when I'm braking...you can hear it start to engage...so I'll replace the sensor and see where it takes me...it made for a somewhat "interesting" pull home from Waterloo Iowa yesterday.
Also WTF is up with the gas prices???...I paid $3.35 just on the Iowa/Illinois border (Iowa gas) as I knew Illinois would be higher...then I get to Fort Wayne and it is $3.72 and they say it is going to go up an additional $0.15 today or tomorrow???...
Well...I better start pouring through some of these emails...
Good luck out there today Bryan...and everyone else have a great day!
