Haha, it's just so cloud like compared germans. And I've been driving the truck and outback for 6mos. It certainly floats like a dream. Broke in the triples on 295.

Just topped up the trans and cleaned he intakes/valve bodies. Can't find a low side AC port

Afternoon guys...

Dave, my cousin has an 82 Crown Vic sitting in a garage in Pennsylvania... She wants me to buy it and I keep going back and forth on if I want it. It's only got around 30K original miles, my aunt bought it brand new. My cousin rarely drives it so I'm afraid it might need a ton of work from not being used.

Back from the interview. Guy said he's gonna talk to the general manager and see about an opening at one of their other locations. Should get a call next week for another interview.

Also, turns out that I still have the receipt for that broken spark plug and there's a 2 year warranty on them.

Road trip time Had an 81 ex-cop car 302 (odd ball in that most police had 351) with VV carb. 140mph speedo. Got up to 125 once and started running out of road. We also had a couple of 83's which had the throttle body injection.

Where in PA? Rob.. Car trailer is empty..

This one is the 302 with the VV carb... From what I've heard, that carb is a pain in the rear which was one reason I hestiate on getting the car.

It does have a ton of sentimental value... I remember the day my aunt took delivery of it, she traded in a 68 LTD with 50,000 miles on it for the 82.

Car is in SW PA, east of Pittsburgh. I almost went back and hauled it out here when I had my Superduty in early 2009.

Not sure Tim... as far as I know, that car has never seen snow. She always put it away in the winter.

That explains her good condition and low miles.

Rob, that VV carb isn't too bad. there were some Secrets that most mechanics didn't know about. I even have a few parts laying around along with a carb or two. Lots of times the VV got replaced with a regular 2V. I've done that conversion on a couple of cars.
