Is 203k a lot of miles for a 97 Ford F-350 crew cab 4x4 7.5 Liter 460 V8? Any insights appreciated on what to check, repair, expected work to be done. What are major rust concerns, because I see rust on the rear fenders.

 

Depends on the price and how well it was maintained but I would be hard pressed to buy one with that many miles especially with the mpg your gonna get out of the 460. Not saying it isnt a good motor just a thirsty one. Most of these trucks will probably have some rust. Its common over the wheel wells, down by the rockers, cab corners that sort of thing.
