A question asked by a dodge friend and I honestly don't Know the answer.

 

The 2010 MY was the last year for the manual trans in the F-250 and F-350. I don't think any of the chassis cabs offered a manual either after 2010. There is a manual mode on the 6R140 auto trans however.

 

havent heard about one coming back as a option, and frankly i wouldnt hold ur breath waiting..

its simply such a small market Ford has decided not to bother with it.

 

Plus the torqshift trans is great!

LOL! Sounds about right with Ford. Seems that way with everything they make now. I wonder how many converts they will create by pointlessly denying people options they want in this arena.

For the record I'd switch in a heartbeat, I have no brand loyalty anyways, lol.

Does seem to be a small market though. I had a hell of a time finding my manual. The irony is that the automatic is a cost option when new, and the manual is a cost option when used. why people are still in denial about the automatics then, I cant figure it out.
